Join a Chapter
Why join a chapter? The Autism Society’s network of local
chapters is the lifeblood of the Society, and our chapter network
helps to fulfill the stated mission: “To improve the lives of all
individuals affected by autism.” The chapters are the most vital
link to communities dealing with autism spectrum disorders across
the United States.
Autism Society chapters offer support and encouragement, provide
accurate information and trustworthy referrals, provide first-rate
advocacy, arrange seminars and educational programs for parents,
publish local newsletters, and hold regular parent support meetings
to discuss and address common issues, concerns, problems and
experiences. With respect to our local chapters' activities, the sky
is the limit.
